The EM2C Institute is a European centre for professional development structured as a partnership between hospitals, companies and universities. Its initiators are the CHU de Liège, the Grand Hôpital de Charleroi, Epicura and companies active in the healthcare sector.
The EM2C Institute develops high-level strategic, managerialand technological competencies for healthcare professionals who wish to have a more active grasp of the technologies used in their area of activity, and for IT specialistsfrom industry or hospitals who want to gain a better understanding of the complexity and the specific qualities of the healthcare sector. It enables experienced professionals to join an active Community of medical experts and specialists in IT or IT management. The EM2C Institute's ambition is to become the European leaderin professional training and development for the healthcare sector in the areas of technology, innovation and organisation.
