Cost of the programme
The registration fees for the Executive Master's Degree in Medical and Hospital Information Systems Management are set at 8.250- euros (excl. VAT) for participants from hospitals. In case of multiple registrations, the fees for the second student are set at 7.050,- euros (excl. TVA) and 5.800,- euros (excl. VAT) for the third students and following. For participants that are not issued from hospitals, the fee is set at 12.500,- euros (excl. VAT) for other participants. The fee covers tuition fees, teaching materials, seminars and catering.
Practical details
The 9 course modules (comprising 25 specific subjects) are covered over a period of 18 months, with participants spending 3 to 4 days per month on the course.The modules comprise 42 days of training and 8 days of immersion in hospitals and companies. The 300 hours of training require every participant to make the same personal investment of time and effort, divided between preparation, reading, practical work and examinations. The successful conclusion of the Executive Master's degree course is marked by the submission of a final thesis.
In practice, the teaching sessions take place in Louvain-la-Neuve, with 6 hours of tuition per day. Attending Digital Patient seminars or workshops, as well as the hospital and company immersion, will involve travel within Belgium. Car pools will be organised.
