Technology in the hospital

TECHNOLOGY AS DRIVER OF CHANGE IN HOSPITALS

Over the course of just a few years, information and communication technology has become the backbone of the Hospital Information System (HIS). It is no longer possible to imagine a hospital having a vision that does not incorporate technologicalgovernance and a technological strategyandvision. It is therefore technology as the driver of change in hospitals which is at the heart of the "ITMED ExecutiveMaster's degree",and the ability to understand the systemic, technical and functional aspects of such technology.

WHY AN EXECUTIVE MASTER'S DEGREE « INMEDICAL AND HOSPITAL INFORMATION SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT » ?

It's worth spending some time on this question! In the course of its three years of existence, the "Digital Patient" Community has put several hundred healthcare professionals - whether from technological, managerial or medical fields - in contact with one another. There is a vast amount of material to be tackled andthe questions asked frequently require a deeper examination or an iterative reflection. This is the spirit of this Executive Master's course which, while making a record of the central questions concerning the evolution of HIS, wishes to open up the way we think about aspects of methodology, standards and good practice, but also about feedback and immersion within the Community's partner institutions and companies.
